crippiter At once both melancholy and joy-filled, “The Dimming” speaks volumes about the current waypoint on your musical journey, with Linda on board riding shotgun. Love all these latest songs, and looking forward to this next album release! Favorite track: The Dimming.

simbatime I started following Sara’s musical journey after coming across her cover “Piece of my Heart”... and she got a huge hunk of mine right there! Then finding other covers she just blows away, I was totally hooked. I’d be a fan if all she did was covers, but then her original songs... magic... inspiration... thoughtful... fun... and she’s a beautiful young lady, too boot. And yet more, she radiates a genuine heart joy. Like her song, she simply has a SHINE!!! Favorite track: The Dimming.

catfish4557 Just plain, good music. No gimmicks. Nice, nice, fluid sound.

lyrics

I used to think
I had to be
A certain type of way
To make the faces
Smile on me

The clothes I wear
The words I speak
Do my make up
Like a close-up
On the TV screen

But there's a beat inside my chest
A drummer calling me to do my best

I ain't gonna dim my light for no one
Baby, we were meant to shine forever
I ain't gonna dim my light for no one
Baby we got all we need

I see your head
Is hanging low, low, low
Doing all you can
To keep the spark inside your soul

Wish you could see
You like I do
You're original
You're powerful
You're something new

Can't wait to see
Just where you go
I do believe
You're gonna let them know

I ain't gonna dim my light for no one
Baby, we were meant to shine forever
I ain't gonna dim my light for no one
Baby we got all we need

You are a supernatural being
You eat stardust for breakfast
Don't dim your light for no one

Gravity can't hold you
Time can't stop you
Don't dim your light for no one
